They talk about dreams being woven,
as if the materials for a wish
were laid out in front of you.

I see it like this:
your life is a paper,
your thoughts are a pen.
You have what you need to go,
but you're not going anywhere
until you choose to start drawing.

Dreams aren't put together,
but pulled out of nowhere.
Dreams are drawn,
be it from a well of a pencil.

You can't start drawing with a picture in your head.
Just set the pen tip to the canvas,
let your emotions flow through it.
Draw, draw, draw.
It should come naturally, like wind,
not like the last drop of honey
that doesn't want to come out of the jar.

No one else can stop you now,
you have to continue.
They can critique all the want,
but you are the artist.
You can let them instruct you,
or you can be the maestro.
Whatever your dream,
whatever you draw,
it belongs to you.

Keep on dreaming,
keep on drawing,
never stop until you're satisfied.
Let your feelings fuse with the pen,
let them escape with the ink,
but control them,
harness them,
place them in your own words,
paint them in your own medium,
draw, draw, draw.
No one can stop you if you don't let them.

Dance to the beat of your own music,
draw your own picture and no one else's.
Treasure it well,
it means more to you than to anybody else,
it's your wish,
your dream
set to paper.
