I'M ALIVE!
....Just so you know.
Hey, remember the .hack contest I had?
NO ONE ENTERED IT.
So... I'm going to restart it. Same theme, rules as last time
Theme: .hack (say it with me: DOT HACK!!!)
Disclaimer: The point of this contest is to get you to try something new and be creative. Don't you DARE decide not to enter simply because you have never hear of .hack

Everything you need to know for the contest is contained in this journal, so you don't even need to watch/read/play .hack (though it is highly recommended simply because it's epicly amazing).
Rules (PLEASE READ CAREFULLY!) :1. Draw yourself or an OC as if they were a player in The World from .hack. This can be any of my OCs or yours, but CANNOT be borrowed from another person. The keyword here is ORIGINAL CHARACTER. That means NO copyrighted characters, ESPECIALLY ones from .hack.
2. The OC MUST be drawn as one of the classes from R:1; wavemaster, heavy axeman, long arm, blademaster, heavy blade, or twin blade (classes are explained further on in journal). THEREFORE, the OC may not be drawn from R:2... NO rouges, harvest masters, ect.
3. Entries MUST be turned in by December 1st. This is when I will be announcing winners. NO EXCEPTIONS!!
4. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE send me a note with a link to your entry in it. Otherwise, I might miss it and it might not be counted.
5. Winners will be chosen based on originality. Your finished picture should be completely UNIQUE, rather than a copy of a .hack character with the colors re-arranged. Your finished product should look something more or less like this:

6. Just for fun- extra points if you add a grunty
[link] Classes:In The World, there are three classes of damage: Spell, Speed, and Weapon. Each of these damage classes has several different weapon classes.
1. Spell DamageSpell damage has only one weapon class: The Wavemaster.

The wavemaster carries a non-pointed, polearm-type weapon used in casting spells. The wavemaster is usually responsible for healing in a group. A wavemaster's clothes are usually robe- type, and may remind one of a wizard. Wavemasters also often wear hats and have jewels all over their clothes.

Their job in a group is to deal damage. There are two classes classified as speed damage: the Twin Blade and the Long Arm.

The twin blade, as the name suggests, carries two small blades, similar to daggers. Their clothes are usually baggy but short, with pants or skirts for females. A twin blade usually has marking on their face and sometimes wears a hat.

The heavy spearman, normally called a long arm, uses a spear-type weapon. Their clothes, like the twin blade, are baggy, but also tend to be a little bit skimpier and more armor-like. A long arm usually does NOT wear a skirt.

Weapon damage is the "tank" of the group- they're the ones who take damage. They are almost incapable of casting spells, and instead deal powerful but slow weapon attacks. There are three weapon damage classes: The Blademaster, The Heavy Blade, and The Heavy Axeman.

The blademaster carries a sword similar in size to a katana. Their clothes are very armor-like, but have more material to them in comparison to the heavy blade.

The heavy blade also uses a sword as a weapon, but the heavy blade's sword- as the name suggests- is impossibly huge. Their clothes are probably the most revealing of all the classes, and both genders wear an armor/kilt type covering. The heavy blade almost always has lots of markings all over their skin.

The heavy axeman carries an oversized axe as a weapon. For male characters, their clothes are heavy armor that looks incredibly bulky and difficult to walk in. For a a female character, a less armor-like but still sturdy looking short top and long skirt is typical.
