Kind of feeling like dA has pretty much lost its appeal to me... 
the social aspect is almost gone save for 2 people who regularly talk to me on here...
my inbox feed has so many things in it that i'm too lazy to look through them all, but the "dashboard" type feed doesn't pick up the slack...
if on the off chance i actually post anything, people seldom favorite it and there are certainly no comments...

So I think I've decided. I'm just going to stop updating here. I haven't posted anything new in a long while anyway.
I will still pop in to check for updates from my friends sometimes, but be advised, the best place to interact with me is probably tumblr.

Well, deviantART has just recently (possibly within the last two weeks?) been blocked by China's Great Firewall. (I'm using a VPN.)

Honestly, it's about time... Art is dangerous, don't you know? Maybe the CCP has just finally realized that there are great artists like yuumei out there calling them out.

I am in the midst of attempting a 365 pose drawing challenge! So far, it's been going fine. The hard thing is just remembering that I have drawing to do.
My friends got me a 2DS and Pokemon X for Christmas. So if you have friend codes, share!!
This quarter at school has been VERY. VERY. BUSY. I started off the year working two jobs in addition to school--my usual job at one of the cafeterias on campus, and wrapping up my seasonal job as a cashier. Then shortly after finishing the cashier job, the drama teacher at my sister's school asked me to make a couple of costumes for their play. (I did, and got paid, it wasn't super fun as far as sewing projects go, but it was still sewing, so I enjoyed it!)
Also I've been taking an intermediate drawing class. I haven't really learned anything new, but there's been at least a couple good drawings to come out of it. I just uploaded them so take a look!
Right now I am *almost* done with finals and it's almost spring break! I'm going camping in Moab with my friends ^_^

I GOT MY STUDY ABROAD NOMINATION!!! I'm going to Nanjing University in the fall!!

So I'm moving like 99% of my old drawings into scraps so they don't clutter up that "more from this artist" thing.

Looking through old drawings is really surreal. Most of them I'm like "ugh why" but then there are a few of them where I'm like "Actually this is a pretty good idea. If I'd had more practice at the time I could have executed it better." So at least I'm not a total failure.

For those of you who live under a sad little rock, the Doctor Who 50th anniversary episode is TOMORROW!!!!!!
I'm out of school for the next month.
I am going to start working on my next cosplay. (Anastasia. Shhh)
I made a Lithuanian cake today!

Anyway, I'll be documenting my work from this quarter's classes, so be expecting a flood of drawing studies soon.
